Private rain back-up location

Most of our weddings and vow renewals are held in South Maui, which is a semi-desert and is the dry side of the island. South Maui (Kihei/Makena/Wailea) gets much less rain than the Lahaina/Kaanapali/Kapalua area.  When it rains, it is usually light and passes over, so we can wait a few minutes for it to pass over.  If it is a major storm, we can hold the wedding another day. Additional charges may apply, as we are not responsible for acts of God.

Or, If you would like, our wedding office has a beautiful rain -safe, lush garden/pool setting. Located just minutes from the beach, this area is perfect for couples who don't want to wait until the next day to get married. The area can hold up to 20 people. There is no extra fee to use this back-up area. We  are the only Maui wedding company to offer a no-fee, rain-back up area.

We do 300 weddings per year and we average about one/two rainouts per year, so you can see it is rare. We have never sent anyone home without getting married so please don’t worry. We do recommend you are on Maui for several days after the scheduled wedding date.
