(Kihei, Wailea) where there are nicer beaches, it is less "touristy" and drier with less of a chance for rain on your wedding day. Located in this area are 5 championship golf courses, fantastic restaurants and great shopping! South Maui beaches are the nicest, wider and way less crowded.

South Maui is closer to:  our must-see 10,000 foot volcano, our spectacular waterfalls, and closer to the airport. Please note South Maui receives 9" of rain per year, while the Lahaina/Kaanapali area receives 18" of rain per year on average.
